Aww, sorry to hear that :(
Try not to use filters and effects on everything. It's 'the easy way out' and 'a newbie tactic to hide flaws' that most people who have been arting for a while can spot it a mile away.
Most of your stuff looks rushed and unpolished. Take your time! Clean up your lines and edges. Refine it... then refine it some more! ...and don't give up! You'll get there!

Thanks for the advice! And you're right, most of my work was rushed and filtered a bit, and I know it is kind of cheap. I've lately stopped myself from doing that (Like in my last upload)
